Chasing Waterfalls in Utah

“Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out going to the mountains is going home; that wilderness is a necessity…” -John Muir

Being outside in the glory of creation, you can’t help but feel a little bit rich when you’re trampling along side a gorgeous mountain with killer views! This past weekend, I got to experience the hike to Stewart Falls. $6 to enter via American Fork Canyon and you can bring your furry K-9 friends! Stewart Falls is accessible via Sundance Resort or American Fork Canyon. We chose to saunter up the American Fork Canyon and check out the views as I snapped pictures like the local tourist I am. The hike up is a little bit strenuous in spots. It was also Remington’s father’s birthday (big 7-1!) and he chose to join us. We packed a picnic and enjoyed a nice little meal next to the chill of the fall and the light splashing of the water you could feel even standing at the furthest spots.
